Beaches

The beaches you will meet in the surroundings of Baunei are the most beautiful of Sardinia: hidden coves and reachable only by boat, cliffs overlooking the sea, small white beaches. These wonderful pearls of the Gulf of Orosei and the Sardinian Eastern Coast will make your holiday unforgettable.

Pedra Longa

This natural monument stands on the sea, isolated and protruding from the coast. It is easily reached by car through a very scenic way.

Portu Cuau e Portu Pedrosu

They are small fjords in which only small boats can arrive.

Cala Goloritzè

The famous beach is characterized by three elements: Punta caroddi, which overlooks the beach with its 143 m of height; the arc, the result of the erosive action of the sea; the beach with its white color creates a contrast between the blue of the sea and the green of the vegetation.

Ispuligedenie (Cala Mariolu)

In Italian it means “snow fleas” name attributed to it by the local people to define the grains of white and smooth sand.

Grotta del Fico

This cave opens into the cliffs at 7 m above sea level, taking its name from the majestic plant grown at its entrance. The path which follows the fossil bed of an ancient river, leads to the various rooms and galleries.

Cala Biriala

Set under the homonymous calcareous escarpment, breath-taking with its fabulous colours.

Cala Sisine

The wide beach is the estuary of a river with the same name that during the centuries has managed to create a lovely beach.

Cala Luna

This 800 m long beach is characterized by a pond surrounded by oleanders and Mediterranean flora.
